1) How do i get recognition from a college that’s far away from me? I live in the NorthEast and my dream baseball program is down South. Since they’re so far for camps and it would be hard to be seen. I have sent the coach an email and answered the recruiting questionnaire, what should I do to further get recognized from them.
2) If i got poor grades my Freshman and Sophomore year but great grades my Junior and Senior year, would that be tougher to get into this college? Should i stress a ton over it?
3) How much should i check in on/interact with these college coaches, how do i get them to gain interest on me?

1. Since it's hard to be seen by programs far away from you it's important to get send some good video. As coaches we look at all the video we get. Make sure you ask for some feedback so you can have an idea of the early interest. Knowing what a coach is looking for will help you down the road. If they have real interest they will figure out how to see you live. Coaches have contacts all over the country and they will find out about you from those contacts. If a coach responds with some comments continue to send video showing your improvements. If they don't respond after a few attempts at reaching them it's probably a program you don't want to play for anyway.
2. Grades are extremely important but stressing about it won't help. Getting help will help and let coaches know you are always trying to improve. All schools/programs have minimum standards to get in. There is little way around it. Be up front with the coach and it will be less of a headache later on. For our program you need a 2.9 GPA to get in - there are some exceptions but we need to love that player to use the exceptions.
3. Send your targeted coaches info on your progress every few weeks. Send updates on your schedules, showcases and what you are working on. I know it's hard for some of you to do but giving a coach a call goes a long way, especially if the coach is trying to figure out what type of person you are.
